Starbucks Upgrades Their Logo
The famous Starbucks logo is being upgraded across the country as the popular coffee company expands its services. "Starbucks Coffee" will be removed from their now identifiable forest green mermaid logo and Parvin-Clauss has assisted in this change-out in the Chicago area.
Lincoln Park's Secret Cemetery, Chicago
We installed signage for Professor Pamela Bannos who revealed the secret cemetery beneath Lincoln Park. We thank Ms. Bannos for allowing us to be part of her fascinating research.
When economic woes affect businesses, upgrading their signage is often seen as a frivolous expense. Budgetary constraints force many companies to make due with what they currently have. Fortunately, companies don't have to break the bank to get a new monument sign to identify their businesses. There is a practical option to the masonry pier/aluminum cabinet monument sign whose cost can scare off business owners.
Foamcore signs are lightweight, durable and affordable. Made from PVC foam and covered with an impact-resistant resin, foamcore signs can be created to resemble materials such as brick, stone veneer and painted aluminum, and can have finishes that range from stucco-textured to near-smooth. They also don't require a 42" deep trench-style reinforced concrete foundation that a masonry monument requires. One or two internal PVC poles set in augured footings filled with concrete is often all that is necessary to ensure the sign is anchored securely to the ground.
Remember, if you are in need of a monument sign that fits a tight budget, of if you are considering upgrading your existing monument, consider a foamcore option. They are lightweight, affordable and could be just what you are looking for.
