Parvin-Clauss Sign Company, a fast-growing, family-owned business in Carol Stream, Illinois, is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Installer to join our installation team. We specialize in the installation and service of custom signage for clients of all sizes—from local businesses to national brands. As a Lead Installer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are completed accurately, safely, and efficiently.

What You'll Do:

• Lead a small installation team, ensuring work is completed to spec, on time, and with a focus on safety

• Train and mentor junior installers on proper techniques and safety practices

• Communicate directly with on-site customer contacts regarding project requirements and progress

• Review safety plans and procedures; enforce the use of fall protection and other jobsite safety measures

• Perform sign installations and repairs in various outdoor conditions and at various heights

• Maintain professionalism and a customer-first attitude at all times

Key Qualifications:

• Proven leadership and training ability in a field or technical role

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Knowledge of safety practices, especially regarding fall protection (working at heights over 6 feet)

• Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings/blueprints

• Basic electrical knowledge

• Mechanical aptitude and skilled use of hand/power tool

  • Dig footings using manual or powered methods

  • Operate cranes, lifts, and other heavy equipment

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate Class C non-CDL trucks

• Stick weld

• Willingness to work in all weather conditions and off-hours as needed
• Self-motivated and dependable with minimal supervision

Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications:

• 2+ years of sign industry, installation, or service experience

• Crane certification

• Welding certification

• Electrical certification
