Position Overview:

Parvin-Clauss Sign Company is seeking an experienced Sign Manufacturing Estimator to join our growing team in Carol Stream, Illinois. This is a full-time, on-site position within our manufacturing facility and is not eligible for remote work. We are looking for an estimator with experience in commercial signage, manufacturing, construction, architectural products, or related industries who enjoys working collaboratively with sales, project management, production, and installation teams to develop accurate project estimates.

Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities:
• • Analyze project requirements, blueprints, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
• • Assess material, labor, and production costs for signage manufacturing and installation.
• • Work closely with the Sales team to provide pricing for proposals and bids.
• • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors.
• • Manage and evaluate vendor bids to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
• • Utilize bid data to prepare comprehensive cost analysis reports.
• • Present cost estimates to management and key stakeholders.
• • Track actual project costs to improve future estimating accuracy.

Education Requirements

• • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences, Accounting, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Experience Requirements

• • Manufacturing/ERP knowledge of work centers and the bill of material process will be beneficial.

Qualifications

• • Strong cost management and analytical skills to ensure competitive pricing.
• • Ability to interpret technical drawings and visualize fabrication methods for custom signage solutions.
• • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• • Strong communication and teamwork abilities with a professional and customer-focused attitude.
• • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• • Proficiency in manufacturing ERP systems (preferred).
